BRYAN DAVIS, MD
Dr. Davis is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine to diagnose and treat a wide variety of ailments in patients of all ages.
Dr. Bryan Davis completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and a residency at Halifax Medical Center (Daytona Beach, Fla.) before serving patients in and around the Nacogdoches community.
Dr. Davis is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine to diagnose and treat a wide variety of ailments in patients of all ages. This certification assures patients that Dr. Davis possesses the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the provision of high-quality patient care.
Dr. Davis is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Nacogdoches Area Physicians Association. He currently oversees the Detoxification Unit at Burke in Lufkin where they provide substance abuse services through a partnership with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council of Deep East Texas.
Dr. Davis supports the efforts of CASA, Regents Academy, The Healthy Nacogdoches Coalition and the Pineywoods Native Plant Center at Stephen F. Austin State University.
COURTNEY AVRA, PA-C
Courtney graduated from high school in Houston, Texas, in 2013. She spent many weekends and holidays at her family property in Nacogdoches, where she developed a love for small-town life.
After high school, Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Texas A&M University in 2017, graduating cum laude.
Following college, she worked as an emergency medical technician for a year, gaining valuable experience in a variety of medical settings.
Courtney then began her journey to become a physician assistant at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. During her clinical year, she had the opportunity to work in diverse communities across the country, deepening her appreciation for people from all backgrounds.
She graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021 and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
After graduation, Courtney returned to Texas and made Nacogdoches her home. She started her career in a family medicine clinic and has since developed a strong passion for family medicine.
RIVER DOG
River was adopted as a puppy on January 4, 2020. The Davis Family rescued him from The Lone Star Dog Rescue in Anna, Texas. River loves his job of greeting patients as they check in and out each day. He is the friendliest, happiest dog you will ever meet. In his free time, River loves to fetch tennis balls, swim in the pool, chase the cat and cuddle with his people.
